CREMONINI GROUP: the tender for the management of the logistical services for trains leaving from the "Gare du Nord" of Paris is awarded.

Anticipated revenues of 80 million Euro over 6 years.

The Cremonini Group is awarded the tender placed by the SNCF (Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer français) for the management of the logistics centre of the major "Gare du Nord railway station" of Paris.

Cremonini, through its French subsidiary Cremonini Réstauration, has managed the services of the Gare du Nord from 2004: the centre employs over 300 people who, in addition to the logistical activities for all Eurostar high-speed trains (for London) and Thalys to Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany), are also occupied in the preparation of the trays for meals served on-board the trains.

The envisaged overall revenues from the new contract are estimated at over 80 million Euro. The term of the contract, which is expected to start from 1 January 2010, is four years with the possibility of an extension for another two years.

With rollover of the management of the Gare du Nord centre, Cremonini further reinforces its role of international player in on-board train catering and confirms the strategy of expansion in Europe, where it can achieve significant logistical synergies with the catering activities already conducted.

Cremonini, with over 9,500 employees and 2008 revenues of 2,212.1 million Euro, is one of the largest food groups in Europe and operates in three business areas: production, distribution and catering.

Finally, It is present in commercial catering with its steakhouse chain (Roadhouse Grill).
