Chef Express directly controls the casual dining chains Roadhouse Restaurant, Calavera, Billy Tacos, while it develops under license other major brands such as McDonald’s, Pret A Manger, and Panella. Abroad, it manages the Anglo-Saxon chain Bagel Factory.
In the on-board train catering market, it is one of the main operators in Europe with over 120 trains served daily in 5 European countries.
With over 35 years of experience in the concession and commercial catering sector, Cremonini has specialised in “on-the-go” catering and has created a business model that links the taste of eating well to the efficiency and speed of service.

For Chef Express, adopting a green approach means implementing concrete energy-saving initiatives at every point of sale. These include the installation of photovoltaic systems, upgrading air conditioning systems, constant monitoring of energy consumption, and the implementation of projects aimed at waste reduction, following the principles of the circular economy.
A significant example is the partnership with the Hera Group for the collection of used cooking oils from the kitchens of over 220 Cremonini Group food outlets. Once processed in biorefineries, these oils are reused as biofuel.
